The LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) green building rating system focuses on tenant improvements of interior spaces in single and multi-tenant buildings. LEED-CI is optimal for fit-outs of interior spaces in buildings that do not include whole building or system upgrades. In addition to environmental benefits, LEED-CI projects typically focus on optimized work environments and employee productivity.

The LEED-CI Version 2.0 rating system provides four levels of certification, designed on a points-based system;
