Siemens Introduces New Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel FLORHAM PARK, N.J., April 27, 2002 - Siemens Fire Safety, a division of Siemens Building Technologies, Inc., has introduced a new addressable fire alarm control panel. Marketed as Siemens FireSeeker Model FS-100, this fire alarm control panel is a small, low cost system ideal for stand alone applications in small to medium sized facilities such as schools, strip malls, and small office buildings. The FS-100 supports a series of photoelectric, thermal, and photo/thermal combination detectors developed specifically for the system. The detector sensitivity may be adapted to the proper level during system configuration and fixed or changed on a time/date basis. Up to 60 addressable inputs are available on the FS-100. The fire safety system is listed by Underwriters Laboratories and available with black or red enclosures. Operating controls and indicators are secured behind a locked door.
